evolution

The evolution of the modern employee on his way to fame and fortune.

just like smokey and the bandit

Awhile back, I designed this logo for a group of guys who travel around the continent in their exotic sports cars. I hear it’s good work if you can afford it.

war

Ever since I could understand what was going on in the world around me, there has been war. We studied it’s history in school, today we watch the current events on TV and the web. There has always been war, it will always be there. It sickens me every day I hear of some poor Canadian kid dying in Afghanistan, but I’m sure there are so many other nationalities that could say the same thing. I know too that war is all about commerce, not what is good or right—someone is getting paid—and someone pays, some more dearly than others.

space, the final frontier

Mars 500 is a project where six men will simulate a mission to mars. They will be locked away in a capsule for 18 months, and e-mail will be their only contact with the outside world. I know, it sounds like too much fun. I wonder why no women signed up for this groundbreaking mission, who is the smarter gender now?

watch out for the martians

the big things

Ever since I was a kid, I loved things that were out of scale. I had a miniature deck of playing cards and a oversized pencil. Good design uses incongruous scale of elements for visual interest. Go big the next time you’re gift-giving.
