There has never been an American female president, not sure why, but there you go. Here’s a list of the forty-seven men who shaped the American political landscape. Some were unforgettable champions of human rights, some not so much, but that’s life. Maybe next election will change everything.
This caricature of the performer Pink was done in Procreate and Photoshop. I wanted it to be bold and colorful, like her.
In this zombie love story, I wanted to show the stages of an ill-fated relationship. Working in watercolour and ink has always been one of my favorite media. I worked to have a looser, less formal style than my usual digital illustration work. Definitely not vector, which is great but lacks the fun of analog work.
This was the development for a children’s book pitch. It was based on a true story about a pig that wandered onto the farm one day. He wanted to be a dog, and didn’t want to be a pig at all. There’s a couple of the pages of character development, a proposed cover and a spread illustration.
These caricatures were done for Shaw Communications for a promotion of theirs. Sketches were done in Sketchbook Pro, finals in Procreate on the iPad and Photoshop with a Wacom Cintiq tablet. I actually was contacted by Bo Levi Mitchell to do another caricature after they were published, how cool is that.
