Mark Twain was one of thee greatest humorists of all time, I can’t help to keep coming back to the timelessness and humanity of so much of his work. This drawing is done in a freehand pen style with no rough drawing ahead of time. As the ink drawing works up, a lot of the construction lines disapear, and a few stay behind to add an informal looseness to the work. Color added digitally with a homemade brush that emulates the dot pattern in old newspapers.
