the almighty google

Remember September 4, 1998–the day Google released it’s search engine. It changed everything. Now it may change everything again. possibly for the worse. Google Glass–neat idea at first blush. After that, it’s really going to complicate life. Weird, I was first attracted to Google because it simplified things.

When I was in college, there was a show of the work of the artist Manwoman. Everything about him was jarring and unexpected. He challenged all of my notions of right and wrong. He passed away today, here was one of his most memorable icons for me, appropriately remembered on the day of his demise.
