2. You haven’t played solitaire with real cards in years.

2017 doesn’t have much to live up to. But it’s got to be better than 2016.
Kind of a funny project for a New York Magazine, subject wise. But still fun to do. Drawing in Sketchbook Pro, Illustrator CC, and Photoshop.
A project recently completed illustration in illustrator CC.
This isn’t in my usual style, but I’ve been doing more realistic illustration projects lately, this started out as a 3-D model in Carrara and then was finished in Photoshop. It’s interesting how 3-D programs can be too perfect and things need to be roughed up a bit to be more real, what Harold Speed called “dither”.
