I love Alberta, but it sure isn’t friendly to folks who want to use less oil and gas. I’ve got a net-zero home, guess what the incentives to build it were–nada. I drive an electric car, the Alberta advantage? very few high speed chargers–less than half of BC’s. And the final insult, the cost to register my car is four times my wife’s car. My MLA told me it’s because of their weight, but I pay more than my neighbor who has an F-250 (heavier than my car).
