In 1988, I was struggling to get known as a cartoonist. When I saw Hidy and howdy introduced on the CTV evening news as the Olympic mascots for the Calgary Olympics, I was dumbfounded. Looking back, I think time will tell wether I was wrong or right to feel that way. The site Canadian Design Resource has lots of great examples of work by Canadian Designers, and basic Canadiana.
