Running

Running

This was part of a series for an article on running competition cheats. I wanted to explore my flat style with more organic elements to make it look more like printmaking. The illustrations were completed using Sketchbook Pro, Clip Studio Paint and Photoshop.
Tondo horse

Tondo horse

The inspiration for this tondo was the bleakness of winter. My grandfather had two horse that ran free most of their lives, I remember seeing them through the trees in winter, they were elusive and shy. The illustration was completed in Photoshop and Clip Studio Pro and output to brushed aluminum.
Tondo portrait

Tondo portrait

This portrait was for an output to a brushed aluminum tondo. The lighter colors and whites allow the aluminum to show through and the entire illustration has a luminescence that an output to canvas or paint doesn’t. This goes nicely with the texture and pattern throughout the image. The image is sixteen inches in circumference, and was completed in Clip Studio Pro.
Portrait of a man

Portrait of a man

This was a personal piece about thinking outside the box. It was completed in Illustrator and evolved from pencil sketches. This style has been evolving into something a bit more natural.
Trump

Trump

Donald Trump as Hitler
This image was made digitally with an effort to make it look like traditional media. It was included in the 3X3 Illustration directory. Trump’s legacy is something I look forward to, as an Illustrator and cartoonist.
